The certified AVILOO PREMIUM battery test provides information about the condition of the tested electric or plug-in hybrid car battery or how much recoverable energy (expressed as the so-called State Of Health) you can still use for driving, in comparison to the new battery.

The AVILOO BOX is able to read a variety of parameters from your battery such as the battery and cell temperature, voltage, current, energy consumption, etc. All these parameters are necessary to calculate the current state of your battery health.
The energy that can be extracted from the battery depends on both the temperature of the battery and the discharge rate. However, we generate a simulation model of the battery from the measured data of the test and can use it to simulate a reference cycle at standardized conditions, thus compensating for these dependencies. More serious effects are only seen when the battery is completely discharged in less than an hour. If the test is repeated, if breaks are taken during the test or if the test is performed over several days, the result may be slightly different.
AVILOO BOX needs a lot of data to determine the health of your battery. For this purpose, we need to know how your battery behaves both at 100% state of charge and at 10% (5%, depending on the model). Unfortunately, without charging to 100% (or min. 98%) AVILOO will not be able to calculate reliable values for the state of health.
The AVILOO webapp tracks your vehicle's state of charge and automatically stops the battery test when the lower limit is reached (10% - 5%, depending on the model).
We will send you a link to start the AVILOO web app by e-mail as well as by SMS. By clicking on the link you can open the AVILOO web app and start the battery test independently at any time. All you have to do is follow the instructions in the web app.
After you have reached the lower limit of the charge level, the AVILOO web app will automatically complete the battery test. Please check the AVILOO test app and as soon as it shows that the battery test is finished, you can disconnect the AVILOO BOX from your vehicle.
Within 48 hours from the test end your battery test certificate (with the result values) will be sent to you by e-mail.
If you have received the AVILOO BOX by courier, please use the return label and send the AVILOO BOX including all cables back to AVILOO. The return is free of charge for you.

In order to generate reliable results about the current health of your battery, it is necessary for AVILOO to identify the battery precisely. Therefore, it is necessary that you select your vehicle model precisely.
